We are a small group of  { Non-Funded } volunteers in southwest Utah who foster and find homes for adoptable animals.  We have been established as a non-profit facility since 2000.  Protective vaccinations are given to young animals, while the older are spayed or neutered and have rabies vaccinations before adoption, or we will make arrangements to have the procedures done for the new owners.  Even though  we are an independent, non-profit, no-kill, { NON-FUNDED} pet facility. A SECOND CHANCE RANCH IS CONNECTED TO OTHER GROUPS AND WE DO COOPERATE with others  whose aim is to find homes for unwanted or abandoned animals.     The main adoption facility is in Veyo, about 18 miles north of St. George on SR-18 (between St. George and Enterprise).

Call Us Today!

There are no formal meetings, no dues, no committees, no nonsense!  Each contributes what time and talents she/he has:  foster care, fund raising, phones, help at adoptathons, publicity, and many other projects.

Our adoption fees are reasonable, and that includes the spay or neuter.  All adopters are required to sign a contract before adopting an animal.

We have had horses, llamas, chickens, geese, rabbits, birds, ducks, pot bellied pigs, goats and of course, dogs and cats in foster care.  We do charge a fee to people who place their animals in our care.

We are available to baby-sit animals in times of emergencies, such as fire or flood, and do this as a no-charge courtesy for owners.  Since animals are not allowed in "people" shelters, we try to help the owners as much as possible so they will have a safe haven for their pets.

We also work with the Sheriff's Departments in Washington and Iron Counties and will take animals picked up as strays if they are healthy and adoptable.  We have also taken animals from the vets' offices when necessary.   And we are a clearing-house for  owners who have lost their animals and want to leave information with us.  This has led to many lost animals being reunited with their owners. We ask that you make an appointment to see our animals, as we are not here all the time.  And we want to make sure that you have enough time to really get to know the animal and see its true personality.
